Common Questions

See some common questions and answers below, or call us at (317) 417.6070

  • What is included in a home inspection?

A home inspection is a visual, non-invasive evaluation of the home’s major systems and components, including the roof, exterior, structure, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, attic, insulation, interior, and more. You’ll receive a detailed digital report with photos and clear explanations of every finding.

  • How long does a typical home inspection take?

Most inspections take 2.5–3.5 hours, depending on the home’s size, age, and condition. Larger or older homes may require additional time to ensure a thorough evaluation.

  • Do I need to be present for the inspection?

You’re welcome to attend, but it’s not required. Many clients join for the final walkthrough so they can see key findings in person and ask questions.

  • When will I receive my inspection report?

Describe the item or answer the question so that site visitors who are interested get more information. You can emphasize this text with bullets, italics or bold, and add links.
  • Do you inspect crawlspaces, roofs, and attics?

Yes. If they are safely accessible, we inspect all these areas. Safety is always the priority, so if a space is unsafe or inaccessible, we’ll document why and recommend next steps.

  • What if the inspection finds problems?

Every home has defects — even new construction. Our job is to clearly explain what we found, why it matters, and what your next steps might be. We do not provide repair quotes, but we do help you understand the severity and urgency of each issue.

  • Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Tenacity Property Inspections is fully insured and operates in alignment with Indiana’s Standards of Practice. You can trust that your inspection is performed with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.

  • Do you offer re-inspectionsafter repairs are made?

Yes. If the seller completes repairs, we can return to verify that the work was done correctly and safely. This service is optional but often recommended for peace of mind.
